TWINS DAYS FESTIVAL

This is an annual festival that helds in the suburb of Twinsburg, Ohio. Each year in August, twins from around the world would gather to celebrate this event. Approximately 3,000 sets of twins would attend this marvellous event, attracting twins, multiples and families from around the globe, and many of them returning year after year. 

It all began in 1976, with only 37 sets of twins at first.  Each year, the number of twins increased and it became the largest gathering of twins in the world! Thousands of identical and fraternal twins, triplets and other multiples get together at Twinsburg every year.  It is funny because the town is also called Twinsburg too.

CHANDLER OSTRICH FESTIVAL

Riding a trishaw with the ostrich maybe?

This festival takes place in Chandler, Arizona. The activities during the day include eating and racing the ostriches. The races take place three times a day where the "jockeys" will be on the giant bird for their lives. 

Approximately, there are over 300,000 people that came to this occasion each year.

So you think you can run?

It must be hard riding an ostrich! Other than the ostrich itself, there are also many other things that would be there entertainment like the dog show and there are also many food stalls. For the year 2013, the festival were held from 8-10th March at the same place every year that is at the Chandler's Tumbleweed Park.
